The BGA 2" x 72" Belt Grinder, introduced in 1997 by Hardcore Grinders & Products, is a precision-engineered tool designed for professional-grade grinding applications. Central to its design is a 6061 aluminum beam, machined from solid billet, which ensures exceptional noise reduction and houses a protected belt tracking and tensioning system. This system allows for highly sensitive adjustments, providing precise belt control. The grinder is powered by a 1.5 HP Baldor motor, with an optional upgrade to a 2 HP unit, and features a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) housed within the motor base to protect against dust and debris. This configuration offers users optimal control over belt speed, accommodating both heavy material removal and fine finishing tasks. For versatility, the BGA grinder offers various attachments, including 8", 10", and 12" contact wheels, a flat platen with 2" and 5" urethane wheels for flat grinding, and a small wheel attachment for intricate work. Multiple work rests are also available to support diverse grinding applications. Designed for both domestic and international use, the grinder can be wired for 110V or 220V and is compatible with 50Hz and 60Hz power sources.
