I’m a bit of a tool snob and I place a lot of value in craftsmanship attention to detail. Espically when the attention to detail means little to most people that’s what I love the most. When a product has a quality fit and finish you the people making it care about all the details. Even more so when it has a specific tactile feel to everything. The toggle switch is super high quality doesn’t feel like you might damage it. The tension and tracking knobs operate silky smooth almost ball bearing like. The mechanical wheel stop has a defined detent that gives you a level of confidence in its function. These are the bizarre little things I noticed when I put the grinder together and ran it. I’m very impressed and I’m convinced you cannot find a higher quality manufacturer. It might sound like I’m being paid to kiss a$$ in this review but I’m not I paid full price for the grinder and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.

The quality of the quench plates is excellent. Customer service is top tier. The pump motor is quiet. I do wish the pump motor had an on/off toggle switch inline with the power cord so you wouldn’t have to unplug the cord. I purchased the large plates. The plates quench the blades rapidly. I do recommend buying another 10’ section of silicone tubing as the one supplied was not long enough for my application. Great product for those knife makers wanting to do multiple runs of blades in one session. I’ve been using dry ice in the water to get the temp way down.

I've messed with several different clamps when Im gluing handles and this one is by far the best! It puts no strain on the tip of a large chef and doesn't affect the finish

Being able to quickly and cleanly cut small screws and threaded rod for custom knife making is a godsend. It's easy to get accurate length screws when paired with calipers or spacers.

This pedestal is high quality. Comes in 3 pieces and bolts together. It is powder coated black. A must have if you’re buying a grinder in my opinion.

Purchased this grinder and pedestal for my welding shop. Packaged professionally on a crate all screwed down. The unit requires a bit of assembly. Package comes with a PDF on a thumb drive of the exploded view and word doc for assembly. Josh was great to work with! Buy once with this belt grinder.

This is the perfect tool if you need to cut screws for any assembly job. It’ll make clean cuts and not mare the threads which is much quicker than other options.

I grind a lot and I teach as well. If you want to increase your productivity this is grinder you need. It runs with the lowest vibration level of any grinder I have ever used. If you have to plant yourself in front of a machine to grind multiple knives in quick succession there is no better option.
